Mountain Guide Mongilardi Giovanna
A passion blown when I was a child, thanks to my father, who went along exhausting and long walks on my mountains of Val Sesia Valley and of Aosta Valley.--- I was about 10 years old….and from that moment I didn’t stop any more ….
I became Aspirant Alpine Guide in 2006 and Alpine Guide in 2009. I got the qualifications of Snow Observer (2A AINEVA) in 2006. I’m also Chemical Engineering graduate in 2000 at Politecnico in Turin. Now I have a part time job (50%) as Engineering in ARPA Piemonte. In the other period I’m in mountain…
My "hunger" of mountain took me along all these years in wonderful places: Kalymnos, Sardegna, Sicilia, Maiorca, Verdon, Ceuse, Buoux, Siurana, Antalya and a lot of others fabulous locations for the free climbing..
My passion for mountain it’s however at 360°: the higer and more charming summits of our mountains (Monte Bianco, Cervino, Monte Rosa, Gran Paradiso, Bernina, Dolomiti) - across the classical way and not only – some ascension in Perù (Cordigliera Blanca) and in the North of India for the classical alpinism and the rock climbing in high mountain. .
And in Winter, when the fingers suffer on the cold rock ( at least in Aosta Valley!!) I can free my fantasy on the wonderful snowy slopes or on the fabulous frozen flows that we can find in my Valley and not only…
